WEGEMT was happy to participate in the second General Assembly meeting of the FLEXSHIP.
The second General Assembly meeting of the FLEXSHIP project was held in Naples, Italy, on February 21st and 22nd, 2024. The two-day meeting was hosted by ISSNOVA, one of the project partners. The meeting aimed to bring together all the partners of the project, review the progress made so far, and plan for future activities.
Engaging presentations by the consortium and fruitful discussions took place during the two-day meeting, exchanging ideas and suggestions for future directions. The partners shared the progress made so far in their respective fields of expertise, covering various aspects of the project.
All project partners remain committed to the FLEXSHIP’s vision to push the EU on the forefront of electrification in the waterborne sector by delivering innovative technologies, processes, and strategies for the on-board safe integration of large battery systems on multiple types of ships.
WEGEMT successfully presented the workflow of the leading WP related to the Dissemination, communication, and exploitation activities of the FLEXSHIP.
WEGEMT contributes also in the Work Package related to Skills development, business models, and stakeholders by leading the Task for the development of long-term skills needs and strategies for a green shipping value chain. The progress of this task was correspondingly presented.
