WEGEMT was pleased to participate in the online BLUEVISION T3.1 Foresight Workshop, held on Thursday, 30 April.

The workshop provided a valuable opportunity to engage in a constructive and insightful discussion on the future of maritime innovation, safety, skills development, and workforce readiness. WEGEMT was delighted to contribute its perspectives and expertise to the dialogue, supporting the design and development of the BLUEVISION Maritime Incubator in Cyprus.

WEGEMT’s input, perspectives, and active involvement are considered valuable in helping ensure that the BLUEVISION project reflects real sectoral needs and creates meaningful impact within the maritime community. Contributions from experienced maritime education and research stakeholders are essential for shaping initiatives that respond to current and emerging challenges in the sector.

The BLUEVISION project focuses on advancing maritime safety and skills through SPMM training, digital twins, and next-generation workforce development. Through activities such as the Foresight Workshop, the project continues to bring together key stakeholders to exchange knowledge, identify priorities, and support the creation of innovative solutions for the maritime sector.
