WEGEMT welcomes three more prestigious European universities in its family:

1) the World Maritime University (Sweden)

2) the University of Galati (Romania)

3) the University of West Attica (Greece)

The new members of WEGEMT were elected unanimously during the Organization’s Executive Committee meetings in October 2019 and June 2020.

All three new member universities have a long history in higher education and do offer courses related to marine technology and related sciences and they also award degrees up to PhD level.
