WEGEMT joined the online meeting of the Industrial Research Advisory Groups (IRAGs) of the Waterborne TP on 29 October 2020.
This meeting dealt with the association’s SRIA related to Ship & Shipping, Ports&Logistics and Social Aspects. The chapter on the Resilience of Maritime Assets and Operations was presented by Prof. Evangelos Boulougouris of Strathclyde University* (*: Strathclyde University currently holds the Chair of WEGEMT). After the presentation, a fruitful debate followed where a number of questions were raised by the participants and answered by Prof. Boulougouris.
During the meeting, WEGEMT also communicated results from EU projects in which it participates (i.e. MATES, IMPRESSIVE, BEOPEN, Drive2TheFuture, MarLEM).
