The European Commission and the Waterborne Technology Platform (WTP) signed today (23 June 2021) a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for a Co-Programmed Partnership under the framework of Horizon Europe. All relevant stakeholders from the waterborne transport sector gathered to deliver innovative solutions towards a green and sustainable future of the sector.
WEGEMT, representing the European academic community at the WTP Board during the challenging years 2019-2021, contributed to the preparatory hard work that led to this great achievement. We are proud to witness the establishment of the Co-Programmed Partnership Zero Emission Waterborne Transport (ZEWT).
