On 24th February 2023, WEGEMT visited the University of Liege (Belgium) to promote the TRA VISIONS 2024 Young Researcher Competition. The TRA VISIONS 2024 Young Researcher Competition is aimed at university and technical institute students pursuing bachelor, master and PhD degrees. This competition represents an opportunity for young researchers to showcase their work on an international stage at the 2024 Transport Research Arena (TRA 2024) event in Dublin, Ireland 15-18 April 2024.

The TRA VISIONS 2024 competition was presented to a vast audience of postgraduate students in European MSc Integrated Advance Ship Design (EMSHIP). The students joined a fruitful discussion with the presenter Ms. Nikoleta Dozic, who answered a number of questions about the competition, including its research areas, the rules, the evaluation criteria, the awards for the winners and more. She also gave them an overview of the Transport Research Arena (TRA) 2024 Conference which will host the competition’s award ceremony in Dublin.
