Project Objective

NextFuel aims to industrialise an electrically heated steam methane reforming technology for producing sustainable methanol and next-generation shipping fuels. The project pilots compact, efficient and scalable eSMR-based syngas and methanol production, supporting the transition from fossil methanol towards renewable fuel pathways for shipping and wider European deployment.

WEGEMT Role
WEGEMT is a beneficiary and leads WP7: Communication, Dissemination and Exploitation. Its role includes the communication secretariat, dissemination and communication planning, communication platform, project webpage, social media, newsletters, branding and support for stakeholder engagement.
