Project name

Sustainable predictive maintenance for circular material preservation and human-centric remote-operations in maritime critical infrastructures via augmented reality and digital twins

Project Objective

BLUEVISION aims to strengthen maritime safety, sustainability and skills by developing sustainable predictive maintenance in maritime infrastructures through augmented reality, digital twins and industrial metaverse tools. The project will create SPMM microcourses and certification pathways, launch entrepreneurial maritime incubators, support pan-European skills portability, and pilot work-based learning through a maritime industrial metaverse platform.

WEGEMT is a beneficiary and contributes to SPMM course development, incubator co-design and launch, pilots, network development, dissemination and exploitation. WEGEMT is also positioned as a key route for embedding BLUEVISION SPMM courses and tools across its marine- university network.
