The chair aims to provide students with a profound knowledge in the fields of ship and offshore technology (German or English language). The academic curriculum of Mechanical Engineering with emphasis on “Ship and Offshore Technology” within the department “Mechanical and Process Engineering” of the Faculty of Engineering is based on internationally accredited “Bachelor of Science” and “Master of Science” programmes. The core areas of teaching are hydrodynamics and ship design, marine power plants as well as the structural design and analysis of ships and offshore structures.v
